Job summary

Monster Energy in California is seeking a Systems Administrator II to join the global infrastructure team. You will provide level 3 support for data center systems, configure on‑prem and cloud environments, and serve as a senior contact for IT operations.

The role emphasizes Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and hybrid identity management, with on‑call rotation and weekend support included. Relevant ITIL knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies (AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, File shares).
• 7+ years managing Windows Servers and VMware on Cisco UCS hardware.
• 5+ years with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identities; 3+ years Linux.
• 7+ years scripting in PowerShell for automation.
• 3+ years using SCCM; experience with SCOR and Horizon.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; on-call and weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for 600 Windows Servers and ensure SLA compliance.
• Resolve Tier 3 incidents and requests escalated from other tiers.
• Manage and upgrade VCenter 7+ with 50+ ESXi hosts.
• Administer and support Azure infrastructure including VMs, storage, networking.
• Support and maintain hybrid identity solutions with AD, Entra ID, and M365.
• Develop SOPs for routine SysAdmin tasks to meet security/ops goals.
• Partner with app security and project teams to implement new systems.
• Develop automation tools to scale operations.
• Research and implement new technologies; mentor staff.
• Take ownership of incidents and requests; on-call duties.
