Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Maryland supports the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems at a customer site. The role involves ITSM, patch management, and detailed escalation communication to management and internal customers, with a focus on security compliance and system optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; four additional SA years may substitute.
• Fifteen years experience as a SA in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Six years experience with ITSM.
• ITIL 4 platform certification required.
• Four years of experience with ServiceNow.
• Two years’ experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications.
• US Citizenship and TS/SCI w/Poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Implement IAVA security patches and track patch status.
• Coordinate with ISSO/ISO as part of Change and Configuration Management.
• Support POA&M milestones and security authorizations with status updates.
• Ensure IT assets remain compliant with ICAM policy.
• Troubleshoot complex server hardware, applications and software integration.
