Job summary

Ericsson Austin is seeking a Senior System Virtual Platform Engineer to join a growing semiconductor development team. You will develop SystemC/C++ TLMs and build test environments to validate virtual SoCs while coordinating with IP and RTL teams in a hybrid Austin setting.

You should hold a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, with 5+ years in ASIC/SoC, strong C/C++, SystemC, and proficiency in GNU tools, Python, and Perl.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC development.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and C/C++ proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Transaction Level Models (TLMs) in SystemC/C++ based on hardware specifications.
• Design, develop, and debug test environments to validate virtual SoCs.
• Define test plans and coverage metrics for virtual platform releases.
• Execute hardware/software co-simulation and system-level debugging.
• Collaborate with IP and system architects to translate hardware requirements into virtual platform solutions.
