Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA seeks an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer to design and optimize thermal solutions for high-power GPU/CPU platforms, including liquid cooling. You will perform CFD simulations, lab validation, and bring-up during EVT/DVT/PVT, collaborating with mechanical, hardware, power and manufacturing teams.

The role offers a base salary of $110,000-$185,000 with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years hands-on thermal design experience for servers, GPU platforms, or high-power electronics.
• Exposure to liquid cooling and hyperscale deployments preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of airflow and thermal design, CFD/thermal modeling tools, and lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• System thermal design and optimization for high-power components.
• Thermal modeling and CFD simulations to guide layout and cooling margins.
• Lab validation with sensors and characterization to correlate with simulations.
• Bring-up and debugging during EVT/DVT/PVT stages and drive corrective actions.
• Cross-functional collaboration to embed thermal requirements in designs.
