Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a TD SYNNEX subsidiary, is seeking a Senior System Thermal Engineer in Fremont, CA to lead hands-on thermal design for AI and compute servers. You will develop airflow, heatsinks, cold plates, and liquid- and air-cooled solutions, and run CFD and thermal simulations while supporting EVT/DVT/PVT bring-up and production ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related.
• 8+ years of hands-on thermal design experience for servers, GPU platforms, or high-power electronics.
• Exposure to liquid cooling and hyperscale deployments preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of airflow and thermal design, CFD/thermal modeling tools, and lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• System thermal design: optimize airflow, heatsinks, cold plates, and cooling for high-power components.
• Thermal modeling and analysis: perform CFD and simulations to guide layout and margins.
• Lab validation: instrument systems and validate thermal performance and margins.
• Bring-up and debug: support EVT/DVT/PVT and ramp production with corrective actions.
• Cross-functional execution: collaborate with mechanical, hardware, power, and manufacturing teams.
