Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Staff-level System Thermal Engineer to design and validate thermal solutions for AI and compute servers. You will work with the principal thermal lead and cross-functional hardware teams to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include airflow optimization, CFD simulations, lab validation, and collaboration across mechanical, hardware, power, and manufacturing teams to embed thermal requirements into designs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on thermal design experience for servers or high-power electronics.
• Experience with liquid cooling and hyperscale deployments preferred.
• Solid knowledge of airflow, heatsinks, cold plates, and measurement techniques.
• Ability to communicate findings across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• System thermal design, airflow optimization for high-power platforms.
• Thermal modeling and CFD simulations to guide layout.
• Lab validation with sensors and thermal characterization.
• Bring-up and debug during EVT/DVT/PVT ramp.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, power, and manufacturing teams.
