Job summary

Qualifications

• This position requires US citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Must have 10+ years of recent and related work experience.
• Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance.
• Must have experience working in systems safety working groups - SSWG, WSESRB, SSSTRP, etc.
• Experience building and communicating a safety case for re-design/risk acceptance.
• Must have requirements management and development experience, to include DOORS and/or CRADL.
• Ability to interface with customer and program management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware and software ensuring mission success.
• Develop and/or update PHL, PHA, FHAs, SHA, and SAR.
• Prepare presentations and participate in Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and safety meetings.
• Support development and updating System Safety documents per requirements.
• Review and provide input to test procedures for System Safety requirements.
• Coordinate with test range safety teams and write range safety reports.
• Assist in developing and maintaining HTS for hazards and mitigations.
• This role may support various software safety activities.
