Job summary

The Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a System Safety Engineer in Dulles Town Center, VA to support safety requirements for complex aerospace systems. This role focuses on hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation across the program lifecycle, from concept through deployment.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882E and safety artifacts, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to system design reviews and mission assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Minimum 5 years in System Safety or related field.
• Experience with MIL-STD-882E or similar standards.
• Ability to develop safety artifacts (SSPP, PHA, FHA, FTA, SAR).

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and verify system safety requirements.
• Perform hazard identification and risk assessment across lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain safety artifacts (SSPP, PHA, FHA, FTA, SAR).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support design reviews.
