Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a hardware engineer to develop System Level Test PCBs for hyperscale data center applications. You will collaborate with product test, firmware/software, and mechanical teams to deliver robust SLT solutions.

You will own schematic capture, manage PCB libraries, and drive design from concept through fabrication, emphasizing fast iteration, ownership, and cross-site teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 12+ years developing PCBs through manufacturing and test.
• Deep experience with schematic capture using Allegro tools and PCB vendor management (Fabrication & Assembly).
• Ability to work across hardware, software/firmware, and mechanical teams to deliver integrated SLT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Test and Firmware/Software teams in SLT system architecture definition.
• Design and schematic capture of SLT and bench PCBs using Allegro CAD tools.
• Create and manage PCB component libraries using Allegro CAD tools.
• Audit PCB layouts to ensure compliance with design rules and footprints.
• Test manufactured PCBs and support ECO-driven rework and deployment.
