Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks a Hardware Design Engineer to drive board and system level hardware design for high-performance Ethernet and network test equipment. You will lead design, bring-up, and validation across hardware platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance and reliability targets.

The role requires deep experience in digital systems, FPGA/embedded design, power distribution, thermal management, and signal integrity, with hands-on use of Cadence Allegro and

Qualifications

• Board level design and development for digital systems (15+ years for BSEE, 10+ for MSEE).
• Own hardware development programs with team collaboration.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro and Orcad tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of board and system level hardware for telecom test platforms.
• Collaborate with managers and architects on technical direction.
• Develop functional, design, and test specification documents.
• Perform high-level design, bring-up, integration, and validation of hardware.
• Provide engineering leadership to cross functional teams.
• Support production through lifecycle with CAD/NPI/Mfg teams.
• Help define internal development practices and standards.
• Identify, track, and troubleshoot design issues and root causes.
