Job summary

Asurion, a global technology protection leader, is seeking an Engineer 3 in Nashville to design, optimize and scale system-level solutions across product development, testing platforms and R&D initiatives.

In this senior IC role, you will mentor junior engineers, own KPI improvements, partner with global teams, and influence standards and processes while delivering reliable, end-to-end engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Typically 6–9 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Experience influencing system‑level engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize system‑level engineering solutions across functions.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives impacting quality, performance, cost, scalability, or lifecycle outcomes.
• Establish and refine engineering standards, validation methods, documentation practices, and process controls.
• Own key system KPIs and drive improvements through structured analysis and sustainable countermeasures.
• Mentor Engineer 1 and Engineer 2 to elevate technical depth and problem‑solving capability.
• Partner with global teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long‑term strategy.
