Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced firmware/software engineer for on-site work in Durham, NC. You will collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams to define end-to-end solutions and architect firmware for flagship SOC/GPU products.

A strong track record in low-level systems and C/C++ is essential. You will drive technical direction across teams, focusing on functional safety, security, and next-generation capabilities, with an emphasis on maintainability and scalability of firmware

Qualifications

Experience with Windows Kernel-mode Drivers and Device Firmware.
Track record of solving complex problems in C, C++, or related languages.
Experience with virtual memory management and interrupt handling.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and System Architecture teams to define end-to-end solutions.
Define the firmware architecture for new products and features at the core of NVIDIA's SOC and GPU firmware and software.
Lead development and implementation of strategic technologies including functional safety, security, and next-generation SOC/GPU capabilities.
Drive technical direction across multiple teams ensuring scalable, maintainable firmware architecture.
