Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Firmware Engineer to join the Firmware team, developing firmware features for NIC and Switch devices and working with architecture, software, and hardware teams. You will design, implement, and validate complex firmware for AI, cloud, HPC, and storage platforms.

Applicants should have 12+ years in firmware, a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, strong C/C++ and Linux skills, and experience debugging across CPU/GPU/SOC architectures. Equity and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in Firmware.
• Strong C/C++ and OOP capabilities.
• Excellent data analysis, debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the architecture and different software and hardware design teams.
• Implement new features for NVIDIA NIC and Switch firmware.
• Develop verification tests for advanced features in a highly complex firmware testing environment.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including chip design, board designers, silicon, SW and program managers to debug FW/validation issues.
• Heavily involved with early modeling and simulation to support next generation board designs.
