BEPC Inc. is actively seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our client site in Pleasanton, CA.

This on-site role supports the End-to-End Solution Integration Chapter and future diagnostic solutions. You will work hands-on across sample preparation, molecular detection technologies, and bioinformatics pipelines while collaborating with assay, software, hardware, and data teams to ensure robust, scalable system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• At least five years of industry experience in system engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-integration activities across end-to-end workflows, instruments, software, and data pipelines.
• Contribute to requirements definition, defect management, and system testing.
• Design and execute verification and validation test cases for coverage.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and relevance to requirements.
• Report issues, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document requirements, specifications, integration plans, and results.
• Identify opportunities for workflow simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
