The candidate will lead end-to-end system integration, define requirements, perform V&V, and drive automation opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver diagnostics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with instrument and software troubleshooting/integration.
• Experience with IVD, molecular diagnostics, or diagnostic instrumentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadsystem integration across end-to-end diagnostic workflows, including sample preparation, library preparation, qPCR, digital PCR, sequencing, and data processing.
• Defines system requirements and contribute to system testing, verification, and validation (V&V).
• Develop and execute test cases and analyze results against system requirements.
• Troubleshootsystem issues, manage defects, and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, integration plans, and verification documentation.
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with assay, software, hardware, bioinformatics, and cross-functional engineering teams.
