Job summary

J&T in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Mid/Sr System Administrator to support a large distributed network. You will deploy, patch, and optimize air-gapped server and desktop environments, drive security compliance, and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues to maximize uptime.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance, a technical degree with 8+ years' experience, and hands-on expertise with Windows Server, AD, RHEL, VMware, and enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus 8 years of sysadmin experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2019, AD, and RHEL basics.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware) and enterprise tools (Splunk, Nessus).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, optimize, and maintain Windows/Linux servers in air-gapped enclaves.
• Administer AD, domain services, group policies, and access controls.
• Perform vulnerability management and security patching using automated tools.
• Manage virtualization, VM provisioning, and hardware reimaging.
• Document server and network architectures for rapid incident response.
• Communicate system status and maintenance to stakeholders.
