Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks an experienced System Administrator Level 2 to support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and daily operation of IT systems within a Federal Government environment.

The role includes Tier 1 help desk and Tier 2 escalation support, UNIX and Windows administration, system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Administer UNIX and Windows operating systems and maintain IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate system status and incident resolutions to agency management and internal customers.
• Perform capacity analysis and planning for IT systems.
