Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite SME in Cedar Rapids to lead and sustain enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with relocation assistance available.

You will work across virtualization, servers, clients, scripting, networking, storage, and security domains to support critical programs. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, cost and schedule planning, and development of technical standards.

Qualifications

• Typically, a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and compliance frameworks (VMware, Horizon, VCF, NIST 800-53).

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on multiple technologies including virtualization, servers, clients, scripting, networking, and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives.
• Develop budgets for enterprise projects in Infrastructure & Labor.
• Create solution matrices with cost and schedule; review technology standards.
• Serve as focal point for escalations and assist Tier1/2 teams.
