Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is hiring a System Administrator III to lead and support enterprise Windows and Linux server environments at the West Point, GA facility. The role covers server design, hardening, patching, and ongoing maintenance in a 24/7 on-site setting.

You will manage VMware vSphere environments, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, storage, and related core services, while driving automation and reliability through monitoring and scripting. Collaboration with HQ and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as primary admin for Windows and/or Linux servers.
• 2+ years VMware vSphere (vSAN preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies for servers, Exchange, and SQL databases.
• Implement monitoring and automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure security controls and patch management across environments.
