Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America in West Point, GA is seeking a System Administrator II to lead and support enterprise server environments. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, VMware vSphere, and related services while coordinating with Headquarters and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience serving as a primary administrator for Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Minimum 2 years of experience administering VMware vSphere environments; vSAN experience strongly preferred
• Strong expertise in server administration, troubleshooting, and production support for enterprise systems
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver assignments and projects within defined scope and timelines

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP, file/print, Exchange, SQL, storage)
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues; perform root-cause analysis; produce incident reports
• Develop, test, and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies for servers, Exchange, and SQL databases
• Implement and operate monitoring solutions; analyze performance metrics and optimize resources
• Implement security controls, patch management, and compliance processes; manage vendor relationships and procurement
• Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects; document requirements and support ITSM processes and stakeholder communications
