Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Systems Administrator III to lead design, deployment, and ongoing care of enterprise Windows and Linux servers, VMware vSphere environments, and related services. You will ensure security, reliability, and scalable operations across on‑prem infrastructure while collaborating with HQ and vendors.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience as a primary administrator for Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Minimum 2 years experience administering VMware vSphere environments (vSAN preferred).
• Strong expertise in server administration, troubleshooting, and production support for enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver within scope and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SQL, storage).
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/vSphere) and cloud‑integrated resources.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and incident management for production issues.
• Develop and test backup/DR strategies for servers and databases.
• Implement monitoring, performance optimization, and basic automation (PowerShell).
• Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
