Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. seeks a Senior Operations Specialist, Syndicated Loans Agency Operations to lead a team responsible for lifecycle events of lending deals and to coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and syndicate members.

The role partners with other lines to push the regional operating model and support local clients. The role focuses on accuracy, risk management, and timely client support while driving continuous process improvements in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in agent-side syndicated loan operations.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles with borrowers, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing teams with direct management responsibility for at least three employees.

Responsibilities

• Execute the operational requirements to manage lifecycle events of a syndicated loan.
• Support junior staff and provide SME-level guidance within the team.
• Interpret underlying legal documents to ensure compliance with terms.
• Support projects and other initiatives to advance the Agent Services product offering.
• Answer client, borrower and lender queries in a timely manner.
• Perform financial analysis of deals to ensure accruals and pricing are correct.
• Manage outstanding work items in line with KPIs.
• Maintain high accuracy to minimize operational risk in the lending portfolio.
