Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Principal Advanced SVT & FA Engineer in Secaucus, NJ to lead advanced platform validation and failure analysis across hardware and firmware environments. You will work across hardware, firmware, BIOS, BMC, and platform engineering teams to drive technical investigations that improve product quality and readiness for hyperscale and enterprise platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred) and 12+

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in system validation, failure analysis, hardware or firmware engineering.
• Deep expertise in server platforms, system architecture, hardware validation, and firmware interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced system validation for server, storage, networking, and infrastructure platforms.
• Design and execute validation plans for functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Perform deep technical debugging of hardware, firmware, BIOS, BMC, and system-level issues.
• Drive root cause investigations for defects across development, validation, manufacturing, and field deployment.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, crash dumps, diagnostics, and test data to identify failure mechanisms.
