Job summary

ZT Systems in Secaucus, NJ, is seeking a Sustaining Electrical Validation Engineer to contribute to electrical and platform hardware validation of server platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, verify hardware functionality, and support automation in validation efforts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science and 0–2+ years of systems/test experience, plus scripting ability to support testing and debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EE/CE/SE/CS or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years in electrical/system test or validation.
• Ability to script for testing and debugging.
• Ability to provide clear report findings.
• Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Interface with sustaining, suppliers, architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering.
• Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies.
• Execute test plans to meet customer timeline requirements.
• Identify defects and analyze root causes.
• Document test results and contribute to automation efforts.
• Communicate test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
