Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Sustaining Systems Engineer to assess ECOs, change requests, debug, and create validation plans for mass-produced server platforms. The role emphasizes documenting learnings and shaping future system requirements.

You will work with a cross-functional team to define validation, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and manufacturability across evolving server designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years server design experience.
• Strong understanding of x-86 system architecture.
• Proactively identify problems and drive timely solutions.
• Collaborative, flexible and adaptable team player.

Responsibilities

• Determine system specifications, I/O processes for hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinate validation, debugging, and subsystem design.
• Maintain configurations during sustenance and EoL.
• Define validation and debug methods for customer change requests.
• Optimize performance and resolve post-launch issues.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability.
