Job summary

ZT Systems group is looking for a Senior Staff Test Engineer in Secaucus, NJ. This role involves defining and leading validation strategies for server platforms, with a focus on system-level debugging and root cause analysis.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in test engineering, strong knowledge of server architectures, and proficiency in validation tools. Mentoring responsibilities will also be part of the role, aiming to elevate engineering standards within the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in test engineering or system validation.
• Proven ability in system-level debugging and root cause analysis.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead validation strategy for server platforms.
• Develop and validate network configurations for server rack switches.
• Mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities in system validation.

Skills

Deep understanding of server architecture

Strong knowledge of BIOS/UEFI, BMC

Expertise with validation and stress tools

Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Perl

Experience automating network setup

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
