Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks a Sustaining Electrical Engineer to own released electrical hardware across the product lifecycle, from PCB design to field support and cost optimization.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical judgment, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to own complex hardware in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Senior or Staff level consideration based on experience, with competitive base salary and meaningful equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing or sustaining complex electrical hardware.
• Proficient with lab testing and debugging equipment.
• Experience with DFM/DFT and reliability considerations.
• Experience with released-product documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical changes across schematics and PCBAs.
• Own electrical sustainment from production ramp to end-of-life.
• Troubleshoot PCBAs, wiring, power systems, and hardware.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage ECR/ECO execution and PLM documentation.
• Define verification and reliability testing for changes.
