Job summary

Bright Power is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Sustainability Services in New York, NY. You will lead large multifamily, high-performance projects, advise on decarbonization, and ensure certification readiness across Energy Star, LEED, and Passive House programs.

The role requires deep building science knowledge, energy modeling, and a track record of coordinating design and construction teams, with hybrid work options in a dynamic urban environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or other relevant programs.
• Knowledge of Phius, MFNC, EGC, LEED and other rating/certification programs.
• Experience with WUFI Passive, DesignPH, PHPP, SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Manage large multifamily high-performance green building projects.
• Advise on decarbonization and sustainability across building systems, site assemblies, materials, constructability, and site improvements.
• Recommend energy-efficiency and resiliency strategies with engineering calculations and simulations.
• Track progress of multiple projects and coordinate with internal Bright Project team and external design/construction teams.
• Perform architectural and engineering design reviews and communicate feedback to design teams.
• Advise on requirements for building certifications (Energy Star, LEED, Passive House).
• Perform energy modeling to simulate projected building performance.
• Review construction submittals and perform inspections/testing for envelope and mechanical systems.
