Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Energy Project Manager for multi-family/commercial projects in the New York City metro area. You will oversee design and construction, collaborate with developers, architects, and engineers to drive decarbonization, building performance, and sustainability.

Responsibilities include energy modeling, reviews, certifications (Energy Star, LEED, Passive House), and leading a small team of project engineers and managers.

Qualifications

• Degree related to Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
• 3-5 yrs on PHIUS projects or CPHC certification.
• Experience with building certifications (LEED MFNC, ENERGY STAR, EGC).
• Experience with energy modeling and building simulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large multifamily high-performance projects.
• Advise on decarbonization and sustainability across building systems.
• Recommend energy efficiency strategies with calculations and simulations.
• Track progress with internal and external teams to meet goals.
• Perform design reviews and communicate feedback to design teams.
• Advise on certification requirements (Energy Star, LEED, Passive House).
• Perform energy modeling of building performance.
• Review construction submittals and testing.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality installations.
• Mentor a group of Project Engineers/PMs.
