Zusammenfassung

DEKRA North America, Inc. is seeking a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in Sustainability Advisory, Assurance & Assessment Services. You will originate opportunities, build client relationships, and lead proposals while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and partners.

Travel domestically and internationally will be required as needed. The role emphasizes translating climate, ESG, and circular-economy needs into practical DEKRA solutions,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, sustainability, accounting, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in sustainability, climate/ESG consulting, assurance, business development, or a comparable client-facing professional-services environment.
• Working knowledge of GHG accounting frameworks, standards or regulations (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi, CBAM).

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a growth plan for Sustainability Services identifying priority sectors, target accounts, and revenue objectives.
• Origin and qualify opportunities through research, account planning, networking, outreach, referrals, events, and follow-up.
• Build and expand trusted client relationships; diagnose needs and position DEKRA solutions.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline from lead to close with accurate activity and forecast.
• Prepare sales activity, pipeline, budget, and forecast reporting; provide market insights.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and identify expansion opportunities.
