Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead global suspension system reliability and verification methods. You will drive durability tests, analyze data, and ensure alignment with CAE inputs and design verification methods.

Responsibilities include sign-off leadership, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with Ford Pro and other divisions. Strong leadership, Six Sigma, and 10+ years in chassis development are expected.

Qualifications

• > BS in Engineering is required.
• < 10 years of chassis systems and architecture development preferred.
• < Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and control plans.
• < Problem solving tools: 8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Suspend ion system reliability demonstration.
• Ensure best in world quality from initial vehicle quality through high time in service.
• Align reliability targets for 90th percentile use case across end items.
• Lead suspension diagnostics and prognostics.
• Sign off system/subsystem/component before Chief Signoff.
• Coach, mentor D&R engineers across regions.
• Collaborate with customer correlation and system experts.
