Job summary

Soltesz is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Lanham team. This role blends technical surveying expertise, project coordination, client interaction, and survey crew leadership across residential, commercial, and right-of-way projects.

You will perform and oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction surveys, preparing plats, easements, and legal descriptions while coordinating with clients and municipalities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of surveying and land development experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency (MicroStation experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of agency requirements and surveying standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Montgomery County experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveys.
• Prepare plats, easements, legal descriptions, and metes and bounds descriptions.
• Work closely with clients, municipalities, and project teams.
• Support land development and right-of-way projects throughout the region.
• Ensure high-quality survey deliverables and compliance with professional standards.
