Halff Fort Worth is seeking a Survey Technician II with 5+ years of experience to join our Fort Worth office. This role offers growth opportunities and potential ownership in the firm as you support research, field data reduction, and data preparation for drafting.

You will organize survey research, prepare legal descriptions, assist the RPLS with survey reports, and contribute to TxDOT projects such as parcel exhibits and ROW maps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician.
• Experience in producing survey maps and plats.
• Experience in preparing legal descriptions.
• TxDOT experience creating Parcel Exhibits and ROW maps.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizing survey research for field to include deeds, plats, and easements.
• Reducing field observations.
• Preparing data for drafting.
• Preparing legal descriptions.
• Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports.
• Preparing COGO calculations.
• Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis.
• TxDOT production (Parcel Exhibits, ROW Maps).
