Job summary

Halff Fort Worth is seeking a Survey Technician II with 5+ years of experience to join our Fort Worth office. This role offers growth opportunities and potential ownership in the firm as you support research, field data reduction, and data preparation for drafting.

You will organize survey research, prepare legal descriptions, assist the RPLS with survey reports, and contribute to TxDOT projects such as parcel exhibits and ROW maps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician.
• Experience in producing survey maps and plats.
• Experience in preparing legal descriptions.
• TxDOT experience creating Parcel Exhibits and ROW maps.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.

Survey Technician II - Fort Worth, TX

Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Technician with 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician to work in our Fort Worth office. What you will do:

• Organizing survey research for field to include deeds, plats, and easements.

• Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports.

• Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis.

What you will need:

• 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician.
• Experience in producing survey maps and plats.
• Experience in preparing legal descriptions.
• TxDOT experience creating Parcel Exhibits and ROW maps.
• Experience with MicroStation V8i, Geopak, and Open Roads Design.

Survey Technician Preferred Requirements:

• SIT or CSR I, II, or III certification is desired, but not required.
• Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus.
• Public Works or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center.
• High level of education is a plus (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences).
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
