Job summary

Landpoint, LLC is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to join our Operations team in Houston, Fort Worth, and Irving, TX. This role advances surveying tasks, relying on Civil 3D and data processing workflows to ensure precise, field-to-delivery execution.

You will lead data transfer and analysis, supervise junior technicians, and interact with clients and project managers to report progress and address issues. A hybrid schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching).
• 5+ years experience using Civil 3D.
• Experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong data processing and field data management experience.
• Hands-on field surveying experience.
• Boundary surveying knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, ensuring high data integrity.
• Coordinate with the project team on field package development and project lifecycle.
• Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis.
• Work with the PLS to learn final boundary decisions.
