KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Senior Survey Technician with 10+ years of experience. The role involves performing survey tasks with a Professional Land Surveyor, preparing ALTA/NSPS surveys, and using Civil 3D for drawings from field data.

Responsibilities include stakeout, data processing, record keeping, client communication, and mentoring junior staff. Significant CAD experience and leadership are required.

• Perform QC/QA on different types of survey deliverables.

KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Survey Technician with 10+ years' experience. The Senior Survey Technician will work in conjunction with a Professional Land Surveyor to perform a wide variety of survey related tasks, including preparation of topographic, special purpose, ALTA/NSPS, and other surveys, as well as preparing construction stakeouts, using Civil 3D to prepare drawings and maps from field data collected by field technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of survey experience
• MD driver’s license
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must be able to read cursive

Preferred Experience and Certifications:

• Associate’s Degree in a Survey Related Field and/or formal CAD training
• Certified Survey Technician Level I, II, or III
• Minimum of 5 years of survey related AutoCAD or Civil3D/Carlson experience
• In addition to experience with Civil 3D, experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and SHA Workspace is preferred

Education:

• High school diploma

Compensation:

• $30.00-$46.25/hour (equal to $62,400-$96,200 annually)
• Position eligible for overtime
• Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company
