Actalent is seeking a Contract-to-Hire Survey Technician based in Freehold, NJ. The role focuses on setting up stakeouts for the survey crew and producing stakeout topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys from field notes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, 2015 or newer, is required.

Responsibilities include metes and bounds descriptions, property and deed research, and preparation of cut sheets. Onsite work will require coordinating with the field crew and site information dissemination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the survey industry.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD by Autodesk and Civil 3D, version 2015 or later.
• Hands-on experience with construction stakeout for survey projects.
• Ability to create boundary and ALTA survey drawings from field notes.
• Proficiency in writing metes and bounds descriptions.
• Ability to perform property and deed research to support survey work.
• Competence in preparing cut sheets and related construction documentation.
