Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Full-Time Survey Technician 2 in our Middletown, NJ office. The ideal candidate will support land surveying projects by preparing accurate and detailed survey drawings and documents for use by designers, engineers, project managers, and clients.

Responsibilities include preparing and revising drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary surveys, tax maps), performing least-squares adjustments, and coordinating with the team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in surveying, engineering, construction, or a related discipline preferred.
• 3-5+ years of land surveying experience in office and/or field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with least-squares adjustments.
• Familiarity with Carlson Field to Finish, Leica GPS, and robotic survey equipment.
• Ability to perform field survey tasks and maintain organized, accurate files.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise land survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform least-squares traverse adjustments and other survey calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate project deadlines, participate in meetings, and convey project status.
• Maintain organized drawing files per company and project standards.
• Support field survey activities as needed.
