Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of surveying experience in both field and office environments.
• Strong project management, leadership, and team supervision experience.
• Proven knowledge of survey operations, pipeline construction, mapping, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with survey equipment and software, including Trimble and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of state land survey requirements, boundary surveying, and topographic surveys.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee field and office survey operations on time and within budget.
• Supervise project managers and staff in planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and execution.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and external agencies.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to meet project needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and company policies.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide training and mentorship.
• Review and approve survey deliverables and professional service proposals.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and resolve challenges.
• Establish operational goals, improve procedures, promote a collaborative environment.
• Travel to project sites, client meetings, and field locations as required.
