Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a senior survey professional to lead construction surveying efforts in Florida. The role requires extensive experience in layout, QA/QC, and coordination with engineers and field teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background with at least ten years of related work, proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation, and strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders on large construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in surveying for construction.
• Ability to communicate with Engineers, Superintendents, and Architects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and translate into survey data.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and monitors construction layout for temporary and permanent work elements.
• Fully utilizes survey equipment, software, and survey systems for project surveying.
• Collaborates with engineering and construction operations to determine survey needs.
• Coordinates survey operations to support field operations.
• Manages Survey Quality Control process.
• Procures and manages survey equipment resources.
• Identifies potential issues ahead of time and solves problems.
• Liaises with multiple groups to maximize efficiency.
• Executes additional duties as assigned.
