Job summary

Prince is seeking an experienced Senior Field Surveyor to lead crews on heavy roadway construction projects in Florida. You will prepare data at the site, generate GPS files for automated equipment, and collect site data to support as-builts in coordination with the Survey Manager.

Responsibilities include performing layout and as-builts for walls, drainage, bridges and earthworks; maintaining control of surveying activities in field and office; daily equipment maintenance; and attending safety

Qualifications

Read and interpret construction drawings and specs and translate into survey data for layout.
CAD and Excel proficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess and maintain a Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead crews of surveyors and prepare data at the site.
Prepare GPS files for automated equipment.
Recollect site data to perform the as-built with the Survey Manager.
Perform layout and as-builts for road construction (walls, drainage, bridges, earthworks).
Maintain control and execution of all surveying activities in field and office.
Equipment verification once a month.
Attend safety meetings and trainings.
Daily maintenance and prep of surveying equipment and provided vehicle.
Performs other duties as assigned.
