Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join the Survey & Geomatics team. You will process field data, produce maps, and prepare surveys while collaborating with cross-functional departments and client staff to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates will have experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GIS; LSIT is a plus. This role supports a broad range of land data projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD and surveying data processing.
• Ability to process field data and create maps and plats.
• Knowledge of highway plans, plats and deeds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process field data in Trimble Business Center with various file types.
• Convert data between AutoCAD, Esri geodatabase, and shapefiles.
• Prepare highway right-of-way and ALTA boundary survey deliverables.
• Create topographic surfaces and subdivision plats as needed.
• Research government files and provide accurate maps and legal descriptions.
