Job summary

DRMP is seeking a Senior Survey Technician in Boca Raton, FL. The role focuses on producing CAD deliverables and applying surveying and mapping principles for boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS, and related construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and TopoDOT, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with ALTA/NSPS standards and boundary/topographic surveys preferred.
• Proficient in CADD systems and survey drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret survey field data and project documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings and deliverables for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys.
• Apply surveying principles to support project documentation, legal descriptions, and easements.
• Perform calculations for field crews and assist with processing and mapping.
• Analyze deeds, plats, and legal documents to support deliverables.
• Process survey data, create plan sets, and extract linework from point clouds with TopoDOT or similar.
• Collaborate with field crews for data collection and quality control.
• Maintain knowledge of surveying technology, CAD standards, and software updates.
