Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a full-time surgical technologist to assist in the operating room, prepare patients, pass instruments, and support the surgical team during day shifts.

Under supervision, you will ensure sterility, set up equipment, and monitor OR conditions; applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS, NH license, NBSTSA preferred, and 2–3 years of acute care experience. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• NH Medical Tech license required; NBSTSA certification preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in time-out procedures.
• Sets up equipment independently for procedures.
• Assists in operating room setup and patient positioning.
• Transports patients and passes instruments to surgeons and assistants.
• Maintains sterile environment and tracks supplies during procedures.
