Qualifications

• Ability to meet Surgical Technologist II competencies.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in a surgical specialty area and assists with complex cases.
• Sets up and operates equipment according to physician specifications.
• Maintains a specialty cart and ensures complete and available supplies.
• Precepts Surgical Technologists I and supports junior staff.
• Maintains a clean, safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Assists in instrument room by cleaning and wrapping instruments.
