Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is seeking a Surgical Technologist I-B to support the operating room and ambulatory settings. You will prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist the surgical team, and ensure patient safety in collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Applicants should be graduates of a Surgical Technology program with NBSTSA/NCCT and BLS certification, and must be able to work on-site in Nash Hospitals’ OR unit. Part-time schedule with day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields in the operating room.
• Assist surgical team under the direction of a nurse and surgeon.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
