Job summary

Baptist Health System seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to support intraoperative care for surgical and obstetric patients. The role involves assisting in all stages of invasive procedures and adhering to established hospital standards within a collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a DOE/CHEA-accredited surgical technology program, 7 years of experience, CST certification, and current BLS (AHA) within 60 days of hire. A sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: DOE or CHEA-accredited surgical technology program.
• Minimum experience: 7 years as Surgical Technologist in all surgical specialties.
• Required certifications: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Required CPR/BLS: Active healthcare provider BLS on hire; must obtain AHA BLS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect technical care to surgical/obstetric patients throughout the age spectrum.
• Facilitates safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
• Follows established practices and standards and supports Baptist Health System policies.
