Job summary

Providence is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, you will maintain the sterile field and pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.

You will support the RN with circulating duties and may serve as second scrub or first assistant as needed. We emphasize aseptic technique to prevent infection and offer a robust benefits package and a $15,000 hiring bonus for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services program.
• National certification in Surgical Technology upon hire (CST/STS) or equivalent.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire, Or
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 yearsof Experience as a certified surgical technician.
