Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to maintain sterile technique and assist the surgical team in the operating room. Under RN Circulator supervision, you will pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during procedures and support circulating duties.

This role comes with a $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package beginning on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire Or
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

• Maintains the sterile field in the operating room under RN Circulator supervision.
• Passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery with aseptic technique.
• Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties and supports the surgical team.

Education

Providence is offering a hiring bonus of $15,000 for all eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment. This is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

As a member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, maintains the operating room sterile field; passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $25.30 - $38.70
