Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP program and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program or equivalent.
• Must have BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
• Must have 2 years of surgical assistance experience in the last 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Perform ligation and approximation of tissues.
• Prepare patients and apply tourniquets or immobilizers.
